The design concept begins with the land itself. As the site steps in elevation, the home is organized into a series of terraced levels, each following the natural grade. These divisions, set at varying angles, tie the architectural experience directly to the surrounding landscape and views, allowing each level to open toward a distinct vista. In keeping with this concept, the two secondary volumes flanking the main living space are topped with green roofs planted in native vegetation, such that from higher vantage points the residence appears to recede in scale, blending into the surrounding terrain. The rectangular forms of each volume reinforce this terracing strategy, allowing them to read as extensions of their surroundings. Dramatic cantilevers and broad rooflines give the home a confident presence, while concrete, steel, glass, and wood create a palette that feels both modern and grounded. Expansive glass captures the surrounding mountain views, and thoughtfully positioned terraces seamlessly extend everyday living into nature and the outdoors.
 
Inside, the architecture becomes warm, quiet, and intimate. Natural wood ceilings, textured concrete, soft neutral finishes, and restrained lighting balance the scale of the glass and steel. Open gathering spaces encourage connection, while private rooms offer a true sense of retreat, with each space intentionally oriented toward the landscape. The result is a home that feels precise, dramatic, and rooted in the surrounding mountains and vistas.
